Before your first Recovery Room visit

Getting ready for your first Recovery Room experience, see the General Information below.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment for your induction.

  • Be sure you read and sign the waiver prior to your appointment.

  • If coming for IR Sauna, please be well hydrated one hour prior to your sauna. Heat tolerance is very individual, but being properly hydrated will make the experience much more enjoyable.

  • IR SAUNA – optimal temperature is between 45-80 degrees Celsius. We recommend building up slowly.

    ICE BATH – suggested temperature between 5-15 degrees Celsius*

    *We keep the water temperature around 8 degrees Celsius. If you wish to make it cooler/warmer, please let us know upon booking, prior to your appointment.

  • Colour Therapy – Different lights achieve different benefits. During your session you will be able to choose your own light therapy. A guide is available within the sauna room for reference.

  • IR SAUNA

    Two people can comfortably sit in the sauna – couples bookings available.

    **if coming in with a friend, an additional $25 payment will be required upon arrival

    ICE BATH

    One person can comfortably sit in the Ice Bath.

  • Our IR Sauna has bluetooth connectivity so you can listen to your own music/podcast/audiobook, or enjoy some quiet time – whichever you prefer.

    We encourage you to use the Recovery Room as a way to escape technology to fully enjoy those 45-minutes for yourself.

    • Towels (unless you want to bring your own)

    • Water

    • Showers

    • Shampoo / conditioner / body wash

    • Bluetooth connectivity

    • Swimsuit

    • Comfortable clothing to put on after your session

    • Your favourite podcast, or a book

    • A water bottle (no glass)

    • Caffeine, alcohol, or any stimulants one hour prior

    • Eating within an hour of your session

    • Showering at least 30 minutes after your sauna session to experience the full detoxification benefits (until our body naturally cools down, we continue to sweat out toxins)
